The Wilma headlamp delivers up to 3,600 lumens, 200 lux and a range of 285 meters. It can be operated via the push button on the light head, the included Bluetooth remote and the free Lupine Light Control app for iOS and Android.
Ten brightness levels from 0.3 watts with 70 lumens to 28 watts with 3,600 lumens are available, plus the special modes SOS, RVLR and the alpine distress signal. The housing is made of aluminum, waterproof to IPX7 and impact-resistant to IK09. Without a cooling airflow, the Wilma dims its light after a few minutes to reduce its temperature – continuous operation at 28 watts is only possible with air movement.
The FrontClick system allows the light head to be switched quickly from the headband to a helmet mount (not included). The cable on the light head is approx. 25 cm long.
Because of its size and weight, the 6.9 Ah SmartCore battery (50 Wh) is carried in a backpack rather than on the headband: the cable runs via the cable routing at the back of the head and the included 120 cm extension cable to the battery. At the push of a button, the battery shows how much capacity it has left, and it also offers several signal light functions. At the highest level, the Wilma runs for 1 hour 45 minutes on this battery, and up to 150 hours at the lowest. With the Wiesel charger, the battery is fully charged in 3 hours 35 minutes.
This Wilma still features the previous Lupine logo.
